Muscat City Centre, which opened in October 2001, is Muscat's largest shopping mall and houses some of Muscat's most popular brands. Flagship stores are Marks and Spencer, Carrefour, Home Centre and Toys R Us. Exciting clothing brands such as Zara, Monsoon, Promod, Mango and Next pull in the female customers while kids are entertained by the thrills of Magic Planet.

Numerous fast food outlets are on offer in the food court, while restaurants such as Noodle House and Chillis are are more leisurely dining option.
